Canadian Hip Hop veteran K-Blitz announces his new project “Paroxysm” EP is due out later this year. He has just released his new single “Blinded” featuring Mac Millon.
K-Blitz is a hip-hop artist and performer who’s known as a prolific songwriter with diverse musical leanings. In Spring of 2021 K-Blitz is releasing his “Paroxysm” EP, with three of the songs already being played on radio stations in Canada, the US and Europe. Citing his primary influence in life as his mother, K-Blitz credits her for introducing him to a diverse range of artists and always encouraging him to follow his muse, music.
K-Blitz first rose to the attention of the Edmonton Hip Hop scene in 2010, winning the Hot 107FM Hot Factor contest. More recently, he was nominated for the 2018/2019 Edmonton Music Awards. In 2015 Blitz was handpicked by Kxng Crooked (Crooked I) of Slaughterhouse & Shady Records to be part of the Circle of Bosses a.k.a. C.O.B. Canadian division, and later in 2015 he was awarded Canadian Urban Television’s Prairie Rap Record of the Year for C.O.B.
Gladiator Music Vol. I. K-Blitz Relentless work ethic speaks for itself, having released fifty-two songs in fifty-two weeks, dropping a new single every Saturday through 2015 for his #NewSoundSaturday series.
No stranger to radio play, K-Blitz has landed the songs Red Eye, Danger, and Blinded spots on WLJS-FM 91.9 FM in Jacksonville, Alabama, AMP FM 87.8 Germany, CJAM 99.1 FM in Windsor/Detroit, CFCR 90.5 FM in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, CA and the Muse Boat Radio network in Europe. Each station has selected one of the songs for rotation. K-Blitz’ song “Red Eye” has also been added to 9 Spotify playlists, with over 75,000 listeners.
