Conway the Machine may have spent decades sharpening his pen, but the Buffalo-bred lyricist insists he’s only just hitting his stride. Following the release of his latest album, You Can’t Kill God With Bullets, Conway returns with a striking new music video for standout track “BMG.”

Produced by Sndtrak and Chri$$ianity, “BMG” pairs gritty lyricism with a blaxploitation-inspired soundscape, blending bold horn stabs, pizzicato strings, and warm Fender Rhodes keys. Conway delivers an extended, commanding verse, reflecting on his hard-earned rise and staking his claim as a cornerstone of modern hip-hop. Lines like “Griselda kicked the door off of the hinges and now it’s lovely” underline both his influence and legacy.

The accompanying “BMG” music video leans fully into cinematic flair, with Conway channeling a Dr. Evil-esque persona while trading bars alongside his mini-me. Shot as a single, uninterrupted performance, the visual captures Conway’s confidence, charisma, and larger-than-life presence.

Released last Friday, You Can’t Kill God With Bullets stands as one of Conway’s most ambitious projects to date. The album reunites him with trusted collaborators such as The Alchemist, Conductor Williams, Daringer, and Apollo Brown, while also welcoming heavyweight producers Timbaland, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, and AraabMuzik. AraabMuzik’s high-octane production shines on “Nu Devils,” which features a guest verse from G Herbo that meshes seamlessly with Conway’s raw delivery.

The album has already earned praise from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, XXL, and Billboard, further cementing Conway’s status among hip-hop’s elite. Additional production comes from Beat Butcha, E. Jones, Jr Swift, Elijah Hooks, and Sndtrak, with guest appearances by Roc Marciano, DJ Whoo Kid, Tony Yayo, KNDRXX, and Heather VictoriaYou Can’t Kill God With Bullets is available now on all streaming platforms via Drumwork Music Group.

The project follows a celebrated run of solo releases including Slant Face Killah (2024), Won’t He Do It (2023), God Don’t Make Mistakes (2022), and La Maquina (2021). Beyond his own releases, Conway continues to build his empire—releasing two albums by Drumwork signee Jae Skeese, touring Europe, and recently performing a sold-out show in New York City celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Reject 2.

A true survivor, Conway the Machine has transformed unimaginable adversity into artistic fuel, emerging as one of the most respected lyricists of his generation. With the release of the “BMG” video, he once again reminds the rap world that his story—and his prime—are far from over.
