Emerging Italian artist Dredd mc has just dropped a music video for his single “Miyamoto Musashi.” The track is a tribute to Martial Arts & the famous Japanese swordsman/philosopher in which it is named after. In the video, we see Dredd mc wielding num-chuks among other weapons.

The song is a tribute to martial arts, which I have been practicing for many years, and is full of quotes and aphorisms from great masters such as Bruce Lee. The text speaks in particular of the Japanese bushido and the code of the warrior enriching everything with names of techniques and famous books such as the art of war and the book of the five rings by Miyamoto Musashi

Since an early age Dredd mc has been interested in Hip Hop, particularly the sounds and mentality from Old School rap, and especially for the street culture that derives from Hip Hop. Tired of spectating, he began to train in the discipline of MC’ing by trying his hand at open mic and freestyle circles. On top of being a solo act, Dredd mc is also the founder of Vodka47, a parallel project to rap with a group of veterans of metal and rock music, joining the Rap Pirata collective brands.
