Philadelphia producer Kwame Brown connects with Chicago MC Nateforever on their dreamy new collaboration “Hotbox.” Brought together through Twitch during the pandemic, the duo is just getting started with Hotbox being the first of many more singles to come.
On the production Kwame Brown brings an irresistibly tranquil lo-fi sound complemented by the silky smooth verses from Nateforever. The lyrics were based on a true story stemming from a bad case of writer’s block for Nateforever. He explains, “A true story about having my mental beat in a hotbox. I was a little too high and wasn’t supposed to be smoking either (I’m a little schizo…).”
