The new UK duo RXL World introduces their new single Misbehave on a dreamy, soft beat that grabs listeners immediately. The duo, who go by the name of Reece and Lorenzo (RxL), combine their harmonious vocals to create a smooth musical experience.
The track is delivered on a silky tapping beat. Produced by Ransom, the single’s vibe is an R&B track fused with Afro-swing. Reece and Lorenzo aim to create good vibes and healthy life lessons with their music. The visuals to ‘Misbehave’ are romantic and heartfelt.
When speaking about the track, the duo state, “this song is based on fighting temptations that may occur whilst being in a relationship. This is a scenario that we have seen happen to people close to us, so we decided to incorporate it into a song as we felt many more people would relate to this.
RxL World is the latest UK music duo to emerge from the highly talented UK Rap/RnB scene. The duo who go by the name of Reece and Lorenzo(RxL) decided to name their group after themselves as they believe their music is a direct reflection of their own individual and collective journeys, to which they enjoy expressing through their songwriting and performing abilities. Their drive has led them to working with established artists such as Mostacks, Big Tobz, Mista Silva, Paigey Cakey, Lil Torment and support acts such as Stormzy, One Acen, Belly Squad, Frisco(BBK), Avelino, Chelingo and Nadia Rose whiles part of their previous group Margin Kings.
The duo who both originate from London, formed together in 2019 after originally being part of a talented 4 piece music group called Margin Kings. When the group separated as close friends they decided to continue their journey as a duo. Working together has manufactured opportunities to build relationships in the UK and overseas which allowed them to also perform in countries such as Netherlands and France. After seeing a performance UK R’n’B superstar Shola Ama has also been quoted as saying “You lot brought a new fun and exciting element with energy”.
RxL World who are both of African descent, Reece (Ghanaian) & Lorenzo (Angolan) try to subtly incorporate this into their sound as authenticity is the main catalyst to their music. The pair who would describe themselves as the average joe from endz, Believe that they’re a representation for the fun and easy going people who may not have had the easiest upbringing. They call their sound “Smooth” to describe the way they vocally balance each other out which they acclaim to be a healthy blend of Rap and RnB, with an afro-twist.
