Montreal native R&B artist Zeina has shared her new single “Talk Luv” via APG, available to stream now on all DSPs worldwide. “Talk Luv” is the latest installment from Zeina’s upcoming project East End Confessions, and focuses on the experience of being entangled with someone in a different timezone.
“The song is about how we FaceTime all the time and fall asleep with each other on the phone,” says Zeina on the track. “That long distance kiss-me-through-the-phone kinda love.”
Brooklyn-born and Montreal-raised, Zeina is a genre-defying singer-songwriter. She is a product of her diverse roots – Lebanese immigrant parents, and speaks multiple languages including French, Arabic, Spanish and English. Previously a student at Université de Montréal’s medical school, she chose to take a leap of faith and chase what would be her saving grace – music. Forging her own path, Zeina has been able to create her own world through futuristic late-night R&B vocals over trap- inspired tracks. Over the past few years, she’s collaborated with Skrillex, DJ Mustard, Hit-boy, and others, while landing major co-signs from Soulja Boy, Montreality, HipHopDx, Complex Canada, Billboard, and Paper Magazine. Her story of perseverance and loyalty to her ride-or-die team of women + supporters (a female collective that she calls ‘Mates’) is an inspiration to artists of any shape, size, background, or career juncture. Recently, Zeina has seen major success with her new singles “Suburbs” and “Consequences,” amassing a combined 4 million YouTube views between the two releases. She has also seen support from Canadian platforms such as Le Warm-Up, Q Cultr, Radio Canada, and TVA’s Morning News.
